Lithology and Thickness

The Oued Ghazal Fm is about 100-150m thick, and is made up of argillaceous siltstone (Guerrak, 1989).

Conformably overlies the Oued Tsabia Fm

Conformably underlies the Kerb En Naga Fm

Regional extent

Extends throughout southern flanks of the Tindouf Basin, and Djebilet-Yetti subbasin (exposed on northwest margin of Tindouf Basin)
